Table Discs

Placed at each setting, the Discs engage before anyone takes a seat. Their unexpected imagery draws the eye and sparks curiosity.

Conceived as original artworks translated into functional form, the Discs bring collage to the table as part of an ongoing exploration of art within everyday ritual.

Across the collection, imagery ranges widely. Classical Roman architecture appears alongside eccentric zebras and prowling tigers. Eighteenth-century engravings of horses and animals surface in some works; botanical studies, arabesque geometry, and intricate filigree define others. Some compositions are richly layered, others more distilled. Each creates its own visual world.

Several designs are drawn from original collage works conceived for the Rome Collection on Porcelain; others have been created specifically for this series. Together, they establish the table as a place for art.
